HC 2004Healthcare Computing ConferenceHarrogate 22-24 March 2004A personal review by Rod Ward |

These reports are written on the fly during the conference and posted on the web on a daily(ish) basis, as there are 5 concurrent themes I can not attend all sessions so these comments are based on my own experiences and views.
The official conference web sites is at: http://healthcare-computing.co.uk/
The exhibition was, as usual massive, with most of the well known names in health care IT and IT in general represented. One or two companies had changed their names and logos from previous years, but many of the faces are the same.
With over 1000 delegates registered there were busy times in the exhibition, but at other times it seemed less busy than previous years.
The business centre is supposed to provide access to email and the web however this is very slow and the reliability is poor.
| A range of posters were available including those of the finalists in the HITEA awards, although they did not seem to be very busy. |
